Storycraft: Read, Discuss & Create (Ages 6-9)
(*this class is incorrectly titled in the printed catalog as "Pages to Project")
In this lively, hands-on class, young readers will explore the joy of children’s literature through classic storybooks as well as some lesser-known works by diverse authors. Each week, students will enjoy a read-aloud followed by guided discussion and a creative craft inspired by the story. Together, we will explore the meaning behind each story, looking at characters, themes, and illustrations, to help students think more deeply about the stories while strengthening comprehension and creativity.
Enrollment is limited to 16 students to create an intimate, supportive environment where every voice can be heard. For more registration information, please contact leilani.weigand@gmail.com.
