GROWTH MINDSET FOR YOUNG LEARNERS (Ages 6–9)
Growth Mindset for Young Learners is a fun, hands-on class designed to help young students believe in themselves, bounce back from challenges, and build the habits they need to reach their big dreams. Inspired by the research of psychologist Carol Dweck, this course introduces important growth mindset ideas through games, stories, crafts, role-playing, and other creative activities perfect for 6 – 9 year olds.
Students will learn how to turn negative self-talk into positive encouragement, set goals they can be proud of, manage their time wisely, and take small steps toward healthy, happy habits. Instilling these powerful skills early helps children grow into confident, resilient learners who aren’t afraid to work hard, ask questions, and believe in their own potential.
Classes are held in a friendly circle where everyone can share ideas, interact, and learn together. Light journaling activities will be completed in class using the Big Life Journal for Kids (2nd Edition), helping students track their growth and providing a meaningful keepsake to remember their journey.
This class welcomes all learners (ages 6–10) and is a wonderful fit for kids who want to build confidence and discover how strong and capable they truly are.
Enrollment is limited to 16 students to create an intimate, supportive environment where every voice can be heard. For more information regarding registration, please contact leilani.weigand@gmail.com.
